Owen Ricardo Brown, otherwise known as Al Pancho, was born in St. Mary, Jamaica in 1974. He discovered his passion for music at 12 years old when he began singing songs such as “He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands” in his local church. For as long as he can remember, music has been a way for him to free his soul and maintain peace of mind. His career took off in the early 90s after he had moved to Kingston and recorded one of his first songs with Bunny Sticker Lee at the age of 17. Through music, Al Pancho seeks to break through racial boundaries, unite people, and promote harmony, all of which are goals inspired by his Rastafarian beliefs.
